Raymond James welcomes Mississippi advisor team managing over $415 million in assets
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Jim Rose, Tony Gaines, CFP®, and Shye Link to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Todd Gartrell, Southeast division director for RJFS.
Rose arrives from LPL with Link and Office Manager Paris Mitchell. Gaines arrives from Wells Fargo Advisors and is joined by Registered Client Service Associate Rachel Scribner. The team collectively managed over $415 million in client assets. Joining to form Rose & Gaines Wealth Group, based in Tupelo, Mississippi, they provide holistic financial planning and guidance to a variety of clients specializing in families and individuals, corporate executives, business owners and those in or nearing retirement.

Rose has more than 12 years of industry experience and affiliated with LPL Financial in 2013. His experience is backed by a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University.
Gaines began his career at Morgan Stanley in 1994 and joined Wells Fargo in 2014. His 31 years of professional experience are backed by a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Mississippi in addition to the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.
Link began his career in 2022 at LPL Financial. His professional experience is backed by undergraduate degrees in finance and business economics from Mississippi State University.
